Tasting Notes
Our fifth vintage of Quinn is a Cabernet-dominant blend followed by Malbec and Merlot. Classic Bordeaux notes of cedar, plum, blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, baking spices, and black pepper. Cayenne pepper and orange peel linger on the finish, with nicely integrated tannins.

Our first Malbec-dominant red blend was made using the best Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels hand-selected by our winemaker. The Malbec portion of this wine comes from Numeral Mountain Vineyard in Entiat, accounting for 50% of the blend, nearly making this a vineyard-designated wine. The vines from this site are grown in shallow granite residuum soils along with traces of loess and volcanic ash at an elevation of 1200 feet.
