Tasting Room Team Member
We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our Longship Tasting Room Team! Team Members provide exceptional customer service to guests and Wine Club Members through serving wine and preparing food. We are seeking people who are positive, enthusiastic, enjoy working in a team environment and are passionate about providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be interested in wine and have the ability to sell wine and develop lasting relationships with guests. Past serving experience (at a winery, restaurant, bar) is REQUIRED. Must be 21 or older and available to work nights and/or weekends. Pay is $15.75 plus tips. Available Positions ::
LIMITED PART TIME :: 2-3 days a week (10-15 hours per week)
PART TIME :: 3-5 days a week (15-30 hours per week)
- Provide exceptional service to customers
- Take wine/food orders and fulfil orders quickly
- Clear tables, wash dishes and glassware in a timely manner
- Prepare food orders from our Small Bites menu
- Assist with opening and closing duties including set up and breakdown when needed
- Sell wine and wine club memberships
- Able to work nights and weekends and stand on feet for long periods of time
- Work in a team oriented environment
- Restock wine and pack wine club shipments
- Passionate about wine
- Have a positive attitude and work well with others
- Able to multitask and work in fast paced environment
- Highly motivated with strong work ethic
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions/procedures
- Able to learn quickly and communicate clearly with customers and other employees
- Remain calm and positive under pressure
- Able to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Must have past service experience
- Must have MAST and Food Handlers card
- Must be 21 or older

Harvest Intern (Seasonal)
We are looking for both a Part Time and Full Time Harvest Interns for the 2023 season (August-December). These positions will offer a hands on experience with all winemaking aspects. Past winery/harvest experience is preferred but not required. Pay is $15.75 (depending on experience). Available Positions ::
PART TIME HOURS :: 2-3 days a week (12-28 hours per week)
FULL TIME HOURS :: 4-5 days a week (30-40 hours per week)
- Daily cleaning and sanitation of crush equipment, fruit bins, fermentation bins, tanks, hoses, pump, facility
- Fruit processing (operating crush equipment, sorting, pressing and so on)
- Occasional forklift operations (depending on experience)
- Fermentation management (inoculations, punch downs, chemical and nutrient additions, daily brix and temperature readings
- Occasional vineyard trips for sampling
- Assisting the Winemaker as needed
- Have a positive attitude and work well with others
- Highly motivated with strong work ethic
- Able to work long hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Attention to detail, keeping safety in mind and following instructions
- Able to learn quickly and communicate clearly
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
