Tasting Notes
Aromas of concentrated black fruits meld perfectly with a bouquet of blackberry pie, baking spices, and rich cedar. Rich and smooth with excellent tannin structure and flavors of black cherry, raspberry, figs, and cinnamon leading to memories of glazed donuts with spicy jelly.

Method
2015 was an exceptionally hot growing season, which can reduce acidity in the grape while we wait for flavors to arrive. Blending with 10% Grenache not only helps stabilize the wine by adding acidity and lowering pH, it's southern-rhone counterpart offers roundness, spice, and gaminess. The 2015 Ginger Man Syrah was whole-berry fermented with 15% whole-clusters, adding tannin structure from the stems. Aged for 18 months in 20% new American oak, 5% new French oak, and bottled without fining or filtration.
