Fresh strawberry kiwi, lemon zest, white peach and melon with hints of cucumber & white pepper. The palate is refreshing with a minerally, zesty finish.
The Grenache from Sugarloaf Vineyard was whole-cluster pressed and blended together in tank. This co-fermentation lasted for approximately 23 days using R4600 yeast.
We de-stemmed and macerated (soaked the skins) the Syrah from Sugarloaf for 12 hours before going to press. The free-run and pressed juice were blended together in tank and fermented for approximately 22 days using R4600 yeast.
After five months of aging in tank, these two different styles of rose were blended together and cross-flow filtered before prior to bottling on March 20th
