Our 5th vintage of Tempranillo exhibits classic varietal aromas and flavors of black cherry, fig, leather, tobacco and cedar with herbal notes.
ON THE PALATE
Full-bodied and rich with chalky tannins and long, peppery finish.
This wine is a blend of grapes 50% from the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Walla Walla Valley and 50% from Numeral Mountain Vineyard, a beautiful site that overlooks the majestic Columbia River in Entiat. The grapes are hand-picked and hand-sorted; then destemmed into small bins for a 3 day cold soak, followed by 12 days of primary fermentation. The wine was sent to a combination of French and American oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and 18 months of aging.
