ON THE NOSE 

Aromas of cherry, fig, tobacco and cinnamon toast with hints of vanilla and citrus peel.  

ON THE PALATE 

Silky texture with excellent tannins and flavors of black cherry, fig and tomato sauce.  The finish is long and spicy with flavors of black fruit, pepper and cloves.

METHOD 

We doubled our production of Tempranillo in 2015, giving our winemaker the opportunity to create his long-anticipated "Super-Spanish" blend.  Using Tempranillo as the base, we added roundness using Grenache, Tempranillo's Spanish cousin, and Cabernet Sauvignon, adding boldness and spice.
